Beautiful, Practical and Fun. This book is GORGEOUS! If you’re the type to buy cookbooks as eye candy, then this is for you. I also think the ideas are brilliant and even though some of the segmenting seems a little arbitrary (Why are preserved lemons for a happy occasion while salty maple butter is for a sad one?) and some recipes that are supposed to be gifts say they’re to be consumed fresh from the oven (they also have instructions of reheating them if you need to, so that’s not a real quibble), I unequivocally…

The recipes are delicious and the instructions are easy to follow – I enjoy curling up with this book and reading through the recipes, stories and deciding what to create next! I think this book is way under-rated and I believe this book would be a great gift in itself! I can’t wait for her to write a volume 2!
